Thank you Alex! That really gave me the kick I needed to nail this part. However, I think there were a few small errors in the TAB, so here's my take on the part starting at 2:49. I have tried to get the rhythm into the TAB by putting longer and shorter breaks between the numbers. Like Alex said in his post, what really makes this one hard to nail is the quirky rhythm. I've found that the best way to learn it is to learn the rhythm first. There are some strange twists that are hard to duplicate on the guitar right away. Listen to the part over and over again until you can tap the rhythm with your fingers on the table. That will give you a much better sense of how to phrase this part. ------------------------------------------------12------10--12--17------------- ----------------------------------------10--12-----------------------17b19--17- ---------9-----------------------9--12----------------------------------------- -11--12-----12--11------11--12------------------------------------------------- --------------------12--------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (tabla and ghatam break) ------------------------------------------------12------10--12--17------------- ----------------------------------------10--12-----------------------17b19--17- ---------9-----------------------9--12----------------------------------------- -11--12-----12--11------11--12------------------------------------------------- --------------------12--------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----9--10--12--15------12--10--9------9--12--10--- -10--------------------------------10-------------- --------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- -9----------9----------------------------------------------------- --------10---------10--------------------------------------------- ----12---------12------9--12----------9--------------------------- ----------------------------------12-----11--12------11----------- -------------------------------------------------12----------12--- ------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------12------10--12--17------------- ----------------------------------------10--12-----------------------17b19--17- ---------9-----------------------9--12----------------------------------------- -11--12-----12--11------11--12------------------------------------------------- --------------------12--------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -15------12--10--9------9--12--10--- --------------------10-------------- ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ -9----------9-------------------------9----------9----------9--10--12-------- --------10---------10-------------10---------10---------10------------------- ----12---------12------9--12-------------12---------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, if someone could get around to transcribing the following ascending run.......
