Abstract

Numerical Analysis of Dilation Analytic Resonances Dr A Aslanyan The talk is based on joint work with E. B. Davies concerning spectral properties of typical non-self-adjoint Schroedinger operators in one dimension. This includes the study of resonances of self-adjoint Schroedinger operators which have dilation analytic potentials. Apart from finding the resonances themselves, we develop a stable procedure for computing their condition numbers. Another important issue is efficient eigenfunction approximation by means of a suitable adaptation of the JWKB method.
