Abstract

Spectral Concentration and Resonances for Sturm-Liouville Problems M.S.P. Eastham The lecture gives an account of recent computational and theoretical methods concerning: the existence of spectral concentration for potentials which are exponentially decreasing at infinity power decreasing (power $<-1$) at infinity slowely decreasing (power between $-$ and $0$) perturbed discrete spectra spectral intervals without concentration resonances in the unphysical sheet.
