Research student support

Support documents

The following links are useful for the School of Computer Science's current PhD/MPhil students (both full and part time):

The Post Graduate Research Student Handbook (2012-13). This contains important information about induction, supervision, the Interim Progress Review and Periodic Progress Review, and training for students.

The forms referenced in the handbook are available below in a convenient form-fillable PDF. Please download and use the relevant forms when completing for your review. ONLY use the freely available Adobe Reader application or, if you have a copy, Adobe Acrobat to complete the forms. Mac users: DO NOT use Preview to edit the files.

These electronic forms can then be submitted by email to the PGR Coordinator Mrs. Helen Williams. Please report any difficulties in using the electronic forms to Director of Postgraduate Research, Professor David Marshall.

For further guidelines (for PhD students and their supervisors) please see the Periodic Review Guidelines and also the relevant sections in the Post Graduate Research Student Handbook (2012-13).
